- Payments arrive straight in your own Mollie account through Mollie Connect; MijnEvent never sits in between.
- The payout to your bank account follows your own Mollie settings — you choose the bank account and the payout frequency.
- MijnEvent charges a platform fee per sold ticket, settled automatically with the payment; the amount depends on your plan.
- Fixed plan costs (Recurring or Custom) are not settled through Mollie but invoiced separately by email, with a payment link.

# The money comes straight to you

At many ticket platforms, the money first passes through the platform, which then pays out with some delay. At MijnEvent it works differently. We use Mollie Connect, which means your visitors' payments arrive **straight in your own Mollie account** — not with MijnEvent first.

That gives you more grip and clarity: your revenue is your revenue, and it sits directly in your own account.

# Payout to your bank account

Because the money arrives in your own Mollie account, the payout to your bank account follows **your own Mollie settings**. MijnEvent is not in between.

So you decide for yourself in your Mollie dashboard:

- Which bank account you want to be paid out to.
- How often Mollie pays out.

Have a question about a specific payout? Then you check your Mollie dashboard, just as you would with a regular webshop.

# The MijnEvent platform fee

MijnEvent charges a **platform fee** (application fee) per ticket sold. This fee is settled automatically with the payment, so you don't have to do anything for it yourself.

The size of the fee depends on your plan:

- On an entry-level plan you pay a fixed fee per ticket.
- On a higher plan that fee per ticket is lower.

Which plan suits you best depends on how many events you organise and how many tickets you sell.

# A monthly invoice for your platform fees

For your records you automatically receive a **monthly invoice for the platform fees** of the previous month — only in months with actual sales. Good to know:

- The platform fees are **inclusive of 21% VAT**. This is independent of the VAT rate (or exemption) that applies to your tickets: MijnEvent's platform service is always subject to 21% VAT.
- The fees have already been **settled automatically via Mollie**. The invoice therefore states "Already paid via Mollie application fees" with an outstanding amount of € 0.00 — there is nothing to transfer.
- You can find all invoices in the management panel under **Invoices**, at the top under "Invoices from MijnEvent".
- Next to the PDF sits a **UBL** button: the same invoice as a machine-readable e-invoice (NLCIUS/EN 16931) that your accounting software reads in directly.

Tip: in the management panel, under **Settings → Billing email address**, enter the address of your treasurer or bookkeeper. The monthly invoices (and copies of VAT invoices created by visitors) will then arrive there directly.

# Fixed plan costs invoiced separately

Do you have a plan with fixed costs (such as the Recurring or Custom plan)? Then those costs are **not** settled through your Mollie account. Instead, MijnEvent invoices these separately.

How that works:

- You receive an invoice by email.
- That email contains a payment link with which you can easily settle the invoice.

This keeps things clear: the ticket revenue runs through your own Mollie account, and you handle the fixed plan costs separately through MijnEvent.

# In short

- Visitors' payments arrive straight in your own Mollie account.
- Payout to your bank follows your own Mollie settings.
- MijnEvent charges a platform fee per ticket; the amount depends on your plan.
- Any fixed plan costs are invoiced separately, with a payment link by email.

   Frequently asked questions

## Frequently asked questions

## When do I receive the money from my ticket sales?

The money lands directly in your own Mollie account, so payouts follow your own Mollie settings. You decide which bank account and how often Mollie pays out in your Mollie dashboard.

## How does MijnEvent charge its platform fee?

MijnEvent charges a platform fee per sold ticket, settled automatically with each payment, so you do not have to do anything for it. The fee is lower on a higher plan.

## Do I receive an invoice for MijnEvent's platform fees?

Yes. Every month with sales you automatically receive an invoice for the collected platform fees, inclusive of 21% VAT. The fees have already been settled via Mollie, so the outstanding amount is € 0.00 — the invoice is purely for your records.

## In which format do I get the MijnEvent invoice?

As a PDF and as a UBL file. UBL is the machine-readable e-invoice following the Dutch NLCIUS standard (based on EN 16931); your accounting software reads it in without retyping. Both sit behind their own button on the invoice in the management panel.

## Why is there 21% VAT on the platform fees while my tickets have a different VAT rate?

MijnEvent's platform service to you as an organiser is a separate service and is subject to 21% VAT by default. This is independent of the VAT rate or exemption that applies to your tickets or activities.

## How are fixed plan costs billed?

Fixed plan costs are not settled through your Mollie account. MijnEvent invoices them separately, sending an email with a payment link to settle the invoice.

When comparing ticketing platforms, organisers look at the platform fee. But there is a second bill: the cost of the payment itself. What it is, how it adds up, and why it scales with orders rather than tickets.
