- Registering your organisation takes a few minutes at /registreer; you only need an organisation name and an email address — no credit card.
- Your organisation name becomes a web-friendly slug and your own subdomain (for example Coding Agency becomes coding-agency.mijnevent.nl), where your public event page lives.
- There are no passwords: you log in via a magic link valid for 15 minutes, with a short email verification code when logging in from an unfamiliar device.
- Newly registered organisations get a brief review before publishing; once approved you connect your Mollie account, create an event and publish.

# Register in just a few minutes

Want to sell tickets for your events? It all starts with registering your organisation. Go to **/registreer** and fill in the short form. You don't need a credit card or complicated details to get started — just your organisation name and an email address.

# Your organisation name becomes your subdomain

The most important field during registration is your **organisation name**. We automatically turn that name into a neat, web-friendly variant (a so-called *slug*), which immediately becomes your own subdomain.

For example:

- You enter: **Coding Agency**
- Your slug becomes: **coding-agency**
- Your subdomain becomes: **coding-agency.mijnevent.nl**

That subdomain is where your public event page will live, where visitors find your events and buy tickets. So choose your organisation name with care.

# No password — logging in via a magic link

At MijnEvent we deliberately work **without passwords**. That's safer and you never have to remember or reset anything again.

Instead, after registering you'll receive a **magic login link** in your inbox. Click that link and you're logged in straight away. Good to know:

- The link is **valid for 15 minutes**. So click within that timeframe.
- Has the link expired? Just request a new one — as often as you like.
- If you log in from an unfamiliar device, we'll also ask for a short verification code by email. That way your account stays protected.

# Bear with us: the brief review

We take a quick look at newly registered organisations before you can publish events and sell tickets. We do this to keep the platform safe and trustworthy for organisers and visitors alike.

In the meantime, you can already log in and have a look around the admin panel. As soon as your organisation is approved, you'll be notified and can go properly live.

# And then? Your first steps

Once you're approved, follow this route to get going:

1. **Log in** via the magic link in your inbox.
2. **Connect your Mollie account.** Payments from visitors come straight into your own Mollie account — MijnEvent doesn't sit in between.
3. **Create your first event** with a name, date, location and at least one ticket type.
4. **Publish** your event and share the link to your event page.

From that moment on you can sell tickets, track your sales in the admin panel and offer your visitors a smooth, accessible buying experience.

Ready to begin? Go to **/registreer** and register your organisation. Run into anything? We're happy to help.

When comparing ticketing platforms, organisers look at the platform fee. But there is a second bill: the cost of the payment itself. What it is, how it adds up, and why it scales with orders rather than tickets.
