## What is resale on MijnEvent?

Resale on MijnEvent is the controlled hand-over of a purchased ticket to a new visitor, within the rules the organizer sets themselves. Per ticket type they decide whether resale is enabled — it is off by default — and what the maximum asking price is. If no maximum is set, the original ticket price acts as the ceiling, so scalping prices are technically impossible. The buyer pays the asking price plus the service fee set for that ticket type, via iDEAL | Wero or credit card. After that everything is automatic: the old ticket is invalidated, the buyer receives a new ticket with a fresh QR code, and the seller receives a Mollie refund on their original payment, never more than they paid themselves. On a resold ticket MijnEvent charges the same flat fee as on a regular ticket: €0.50 or €0.25 incl. VAT, depending on the plan.

The visitor lists their ticket on the platform. The asking price cannot exceed the maximum price set by the organizer.

A new buyer pays the asking price plus a small service fee via Mollie. Safe and fast with iDEAL | Wero.

The old ticket is invalidated. The buyer receives a new ticket with a fresh QR code. The seller automatically gets a refund.

Organizers set a maximum resale price per ticket type. No scalping possible.

The seller receives the amount automatically via Mollie. No manual action required. Was a ticket issued from the guest list or paid (partly) with a gift card? Then there is no refundable Mollie payment behind it and the visitor cannot list it themselves — that goes through the organizer.

## Do I have to enable resale as an organizer?

  No, resale is off by default. You enable it per ticket type, so you can allow it for an early bird ticket and keep it off for a VIP ticket. As long as resale is off, a visitor cannot list their ticket on the platform.

## Can someone resell my tickets at scalping prices?

  No. You set a maximum resale price per ticket type. If you leave it empty, the original ticket price automatically acts as the ceiling. A higher asking price is refused by the platform, so reselling above your limit is simply not possible.

## How does the seller get their money back?

  Automatically, through a Mollie refund on the seller's original payment. No manual transfer and no payments between visitors are needed. The refunded amount is never higher than what the seller paid for the ticket themselves.

## What does resale cost?

  The buyer pays the asking price plus the service fee you set per ticket type; that fee is itemised in the checkout. On a resold ticket MijnEvent charges the same flat fee as on a regular ticket: €0.50 incl. VAT on Pay as you go, or €0.25 on the Organizer plan.

## Can a resold ticket be scanned twice?

  No. As soon as the buyer's payment comes in, the old ticket is invalidated and the buyer receives a new ticket with a new unique QR code. At check-in the old ticket is refused, even if the seller still has the old PDF.

## Can every ticket be resold?

  Only tickets backed by a refundable Mollie payment. A ticket issued from the guest list or paid (partly) with a gift card cannot be listed by the visitor themselves — the organizer handles that.
